Annie Lederman was one of the female students that testified in court following the incident. Then, she was introduced to a number of students who had been involved with drugs and other criminal activities. After graduating from high school at the age of seventeen, Annie Lederman spent the next year volunteering, beginning by helping dolphins train in Hawaii and then volunteering for a non-profit organization that was based in Central America aiding disadvantaged children.
