Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart

Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American actress who played various characters in films, TV and the theater. She was awarded numerous awards like the Daytime Emmy Award for her acting in theater and television. She is well-known as the character the role of Lieutenant Sheba, in the 1978-1979 TV series Battlestar Galactica. She is daughter of actress June Lockhart. Lockhart began her acting career in the early years. At the age of four, her first film role came on screen in T is for Tumbleweed. It was nominated as an Academy Award in this short film. The mother and daughter spent many hours together in the set, and learning about the industry. Lockhart was even a part of several Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory, 1972 was Lockhart's first film. In 1972, she was 18 years old when she portrayed her character as the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan was the only actor to make an appearance in The Sixth Sense. There is widespread belief that Anne did not want to play Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's Halloween, a film from 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis was given the part. The actor. Carpenter says that he wanted her for the role however she decided to turn the offer down. Anne doesn't remember John Carpenter contacting her or suggesting the role. In the beginning, she didn't like the role because she thought it was too weak. Glen then wrote a script for her which starred an extremely strong character named Sheba.
